Chinese Bridge Summer Camp, a love for south asian languages

Bilingual if not multilingual speaker,  My interest in South Asian bilanguage lead to explore their culture and tradition. K-pop my thing, next 2019, hope my freshman summer in Korea. In my own time during the 8th grade, self taught Japanese and did visit to Japan that summer 2016, when my parents planned to attend my aunt’s marriage in Thailand, push on to stop over in Japan spending a week. In 2017, at the age of 14 traveled alone to China and spent 5 weeks, at school learning Chinese as foreign language for the past more over 4 years.

No one can know what they appreciate unless they take the time to experience it.

At home, we speak a south east Asian language called Tamil, learnt from 5 years, could write/read, and  visited Tamil nadu from young age, as young as 4yrs that I remember.

Chinese Bridge Summer Camp is designed to enhance understanding between American and Chinese high school students. Through a combination of classroom study and excursions, students will have a unique opportunity to expand their language skills while experiencing China’s rich culture, tradition, and history.
